Learn how to incorporate aromatherapy into your massage treatments. Aromatherapy is becoming a part of today's lifestyle, along with natural and alternative therapies. Learn the properties and benefits of aromatherapy oils and the sources they come from, to enable you to create a blend of oils suitable for each individual client.
By understanding the plant origin and the methods of chemical and biological perspectives, therapists can use essential oil therapy to incorporate with their massage treatments.
This course forms part of the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy course and will allow students to receive credit for this unit against the Certificate IV (or Diploma) in Beauty Therapy.

- Benefits and effects of the oils
- Blending oils
- Manufacturing of the oils
- Massage Techniques
- Client Consultation
- Client Care
- Health & Safety
Students will be required to source outside models throughout the duration of the course - models may be needed for consecutive weeks on occasion
Pre-requisite Requirements
Student's must have successfully completed our Massage and Anatomy and Physiology modules. Students who have not completed these modules with us must have successfully completed the following units of competency (or equivilent) and must provide a certified copy of their transcript of results with their enrolment.
- SIBBBOS401A: Perform body massage
- SIBBCCS403A: Recognise body structures and systems in a beauty therapy context
Course Duration:
This course runs over 8 weeks from 9am-4:30pm
Course Fees
$1,000.00. A $200.00 minimum non-refundable deposit is required to enrol and secure a position in the course. The balance of the course fees is due on the course commencement date. (A 4 week direct-debit payment plan with integraPAY is available, information will be sent to students with their confirmation of enrolment).
