Want to enter the exciting world of Beauty & Makeup?

Learn the art of make-up and eyelash extension application and beauty skills to perform waxing, manicures and pedicures, and eyelash and eyebrow tinting and shaping. Learn basic beauty treatment skills necessary to work in a beauty salon, retail make-up counter or as a freelancer! With experienced educators, we will help unlock your potential and equip you with the tools required to build upon a successful career.

Qualification & Units of Competency

On successful completion of the course, students will receive the nationally recognised SHB30115: Certificate III in Beauty Services qualification.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Do you have 2 or more years industry relevant experience? Have your experience recognised and increase your employment prospects by applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Through RPL you could reduce the duration of your studies. RPL assessed on a case by case basis, so it is only available upon application.

*Students will be charged an administration fee of $200 per unit of competency.

Course Fees

Upon enrolling in the course, the student (and guarantor/s) becomes liable to the institute for the full course fees.

Certificate III in Beauty Services:

Full Course Cost: $3,900.00

Required Equipment/Additional Costs

• Student ID Card: $25
• Black Pants and Enclosed Black Shoes
• Printing and Photocopying by student
• Basic Stationary
• A laptop or tablet device for viewing/accessing course notes and taking notes. Internet access at home is also required.
• Kit - $848.50 (includes: beauty kit, makeup kit, eyelash kit, towel kit and pants. List available upon enrolment).
• PLUS a professional photoshoot with images for your portfolio
• Australian Institute of Creative Design t’shirt

Students will be required to source outside models throughout the duration of the course - models may be needed for consecutive weeks on occasion

Qualification

Students who successfully complete the course will receive the nationally recognised Certificate III in Beauty Services (SHB30115) qualification.

Graduates are eligible for enrolment in the Diploma of Beauty Therapy course and will be eligible for direct credit for units completed in this course.

Course Duration:

Full Time: This course runs 3 days per week for 18 weeks from 9am - 4:30pm

Part Time: This course runs for one day a week over 54 weeks plus holidays, 9:00am - 4:30pm
