Would you like to add hot stone massage therapy to the list of treatments you can provide to your clients?
This course is offered to beauty or massage therapists who would like to become qualified in the use of the hot stones. This extremely popular treatment is in high demand in beauty salons and spas all around the world. Having the skills to offer hot stone massage will enable you to obtain work in luxury spas and satisfy your clients with this relaxing and healing treatment.
Hot stone massage can become an extension of your current massage practice for healing and balancing, allowing a deeper level of pressure and relaxation. Using the heated rocks and their energy for massage, they allow for healing and soothing which will become a natural addition to your normal massage routine.
Hot stone massage works on the mind, body and soul while concentrating on the physiological and psychological effects, incorporating Swedish massage, reflexology, shiatsu techniques and balancing of the charka's of the body. Using specific placement of large stones to heal and sooth areas of the body helps to promote the feeling of balance and well being. Hot stone massage is known for relieving muscular aches, loosening stiff muscles, improving circulation and providing deep relaxation.
Design your massage to work on tight muscles, tension build up or to give a relaxing, soothing effect. Learn how to balance the 7 energy centres by using charka balancing.
