New Brisbane Campus

AICD will open a Brisbane campus in Fortitude Valley (within short walking distance from the train station), in March 2010, offering students the option to study selected courses in Brisbane.

Students will be able to enrol in the Diploma of Styling to start on the 16th of March in Brisbane as well as a number of other courses. More information coming soon!

Beauty Therapy ITEC Approval

The Australian Institute of Beauty Therapy is now ITEC approved and is the only beauty school on the Gold Coast that offers international qualifications in beauty.

ITEC is an international examination board that offers a variety of qualifications worldwide. This means that our curriculum meets the ITEC standards and prepares students for sitting the ITEC examinations. Students that successfully complete the international qualifications will be qualified to work on cruise ships and in over 33 countries around the world. Students will have the option to sit the ITEC international examiniations in beauty on completion of the Diploma of Beauty Therapy course. As a special offer for our first year of ITEC assessments, all Diploma of Beauty Therapy students enrolled to start in March 2010 will receive the Beauty Specialists Level 2 ITEC assessment for free.

New Interior Design Qualifications

The Australian Institute of Creative Design is now approved to offer the nationally recognised qualifications in interior design and decoration. The Certificate III in Interior Decoration (Retail Services) will be offered for the first time in 2010 starting on the 19th of March.

The Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration and the Advanced Diploma of Interior Design will be offered for the first time in 2011.

The September Issue (directed and produced by R.J. Cutler), tells the story of legendary Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and her larger-than-life team of editors creating the September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine, the largest issue a magazine ever published, weighing nearly five pounds.
