New Eyelash Extension Course!

AICD has been receiving requests to run an eyelash extension course for some time, and now we are finally offering one! The course will prepare you to provide professional eyelash extensions which are in high demand in salons and have great profit margins.

The first Eyelash Extension course is scheduled for Friday the 2nd of December and will run from 9.30am – 4pm, so enrol now so that you don’t miss out!

Special Offer: Waxing and Tinting Course

AICD is offering prospective students the opportunity to enrol in the Saturday the 1st of October 2011 Waxing and Tinting course at the old price of $950 if they mention this article.

The price of the Waxing and Tinting course was risen to $1200 as this course had it’s duration extended to 12 weeks after the recent training package updates and has been under-priced for quite some time. This price rise has also affected the pricing of the Certificate III in Beauty Services as the Waxing and Tinting course forms part of this qualification.

Anyone who has already received the enrolment pack for the Waxing and Tinting course or Certificate III in Beauty Services will still able to enrol at the old pricing until the 1st of January 2012.

New Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy Course

AICD announces that we are now offering the SIB40110: Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy qualification part-time with flexible study options allowing students to select when they would like to complete the individual modules. The course is broken into models of facials, waxing and tinting, make-up, massage, manicure and pedicures and anatomy and physiology. Students have the option of completing the course over one or two days per week on Friday’s and/or Saturday’s. This format will allow students to complete modules in the order that suits them and once each module is successfully completed students will be able to apply for work in the industry in the study areas successfully completed.

We are offering the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy course in the same format as we have been offering the Certificate III in Beauty Services for the past two years, which we have found to be successful for students completing the course, allowing them to fit their study in around their other work and personal commitments. This also allows students to upgrade easily from the Certificate III in Beauty Services to the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy by adding on the modules not already undertaken. Students may also enrol in the modules individually if desired.

Beauty Therapy ITEC Approval

The Australian Institute of Beauty Therapy is now ITEC approved and is the only beauty school on the Gold Coast that offers international qualifications in beauty.

ITEC is an international examination board that offers a variety of qualifications worldwide. This means that our curriculum meets the ITEC standards and prepares students for sitting the ITEC examinations. Students that successfully complete the international qualifications will be qualified to work on cruise ships and in over 33 countries around the world. Students will have the option to sit the ITEC international examiniations in beauty on completion of the Diploma of Beauty Therapy course. As a special offer for our first year of ITEC assessments, all Diploma of Beauty Therapy students enrolled to start in March 2010 will receive the Beauty Specialists Level 2 ITEC assessment for free.
