Whether you are a beginner with no previous experience wanting to start your career as a fashion photographer, a stylist looking to improve their skills or someone just interested in photography, this course is for you.

Learn how to take great fashion images that are suitable for publication in fashion magazines. Master photocomposition, framing and lighting techniques to turn your photographs into professional images.

This course is suitable for beginners and will cover camera use and terminology as well as practical shooting exercises in the studio and on location.

The course includes location and studio photoshoot days of which the students will plan and shoot their looks. Students will then critically analyse the photos captured and select the photos for retouching work in Photoshop.

Course Requirements

• A digital SLR camera is preferred, although a film SLR is fine.
• Any camera accessories you have, such as tripod, interchangeable lens, charged camera batteries, power cord/charger, spare memory cards etc.
• USB memory stick

Course Duration

The course is run part time on Sundays over 10 weeks with a total of 15 three hour classes, with some days running from 9.30am - 12.30pm and others running from 9.30am - 4pm.

Price

$1565 – also covers the cost of an A4 print of your photo from the photoshoot at the end of the course. A $200 Non-refundable course deposit required to enrol. Balance due on course commencement. (5 week payment plans available on request - $25 admin fee applies).
